The Tulip Wine Down History
Over ten years ago Cindi Vetter as president of the Woodburn Chamber had a thought of bringing out an event to the tulip fields that was wine related. Talking with Barb Iverson she found out that Barb also wanted the same.
In 2007 at a Hubbard Business and Economic Development board meeting th
e Board decided to take on an event to help raise money for projects that HBED had on their agenda for the remainder of the year. The event was hosted at Furniture Outlet in Hubbard; there was a showcase of Wines, Art and a Silent Auction. This event went over so well that a few Members of that board Creator of the event Cindi Vetter & Terri Gonzalez decided to bring it out to the Wooden Shoe Tulip festival with the Help of Barb Iverson whose family owns the Tulip Farm. The Tulip Festival is on its 24th year and still growing strong.
